We stayed at Goody Bridge Cottage, Easedale which provides accommodation for two and is ideally situated for exploring the central fells around Grasmere & beyond

06.07.01 8¼ Red Pike 3 Red Pike, High Stile, High Crag 2479, 2644, 2443 Hot & overcast; sun broke through occasionally, distant thunder with heavy showers late afternoon
07.07.01 6½ Easedale   Silver Howe 1292 Hot & sunny; overcast by mid afternoon, distant thunder lightening over Windermere
08.07.01 Catbells 1 Catbells 1481 Early rain clearing, low cloud lifting just as Catbells summit reached
09.07.01 6¾ Great Gable 1 Great Gable 2949 Dry & dull; cloud dropped to cover Gable; warm & sunny late afternoon
10.07.01 Causey Pike 2 Causey Pike, Scar Crag 2035, 2205 Heavy morning rain, clearing mid-day, followed by more heavy showers, clearing late afternoon
11.07.01 Place Fell 1 Place Fell 2154 Heavy morning rain, clearing mid-day to provide sunny warm spells with strong, gusty wind; rain again by mid evening
12.07.01 Grisedale Pike 6 Grisedale Pike, Hopegill Head, Crag Hill, Sail, Scar Crags, Causey Pike 2593, 2525, 2749, 2530, 2205, 2035 Scattered showers during morning, clearing during afternoon, some sunny spells, rain retuning late afternoon
